Old Train Schedules

(1999-04-11) Metro North Employee Hudson Line

Let’s continue the set I started yesterday.  Here are the Hudson Line schedules from the same set.  Once again, split into weekdays and Weekends.   Also, MNRR shows Amtrak trains in its schedules.

Also, I have the New Haven schedules.  I plan on doing them next.

(1999-04-11) Metro North Employee Harlem Line

While I realise 1999 isn’t all that old, I thought these Harlem Line schedules from Metro North would make a nice addition.

As you can see, Metro North splits its employee schedules up into Weekdays and Weekends.

(1970-02-25) Norfolk and Western

Continting my commitment to posting items from outside of the Northeast, here is an N&W schedule from 1970.

Ok, as promised, another Atlantic Coast Line Schedule

(1962-12-14) Atlantic Coast Line

(1964-12-17) Atlantic Coast Line

Ok, I decided to get off of my Northeast tangent and post a few schedules from elsewhere in the country.  Here is an Atlantic Coast Line schedule from 1964.  I am currently working on one from even earlier and should have it posted in a day or two.  Until then, enjoy this one.

Error in a link

Someone was nice enough to point out an error in one of my Links. I had accidently linked a Main Line Schedule to a North Jersey Coast Line link. It has been corrected. If anyone else finds errors in my links, or on the site as well, please feel free to post a comment or send me an email

NS Port Road Track Diagrams 2006

The Port Road Branch is a very scenic piece of railroad. Paralleling the Susquehanna River from Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor in Perryville MD up to Enola PA, this line was at one time electrified and used by PRR and Amtrak Passenger trains, such as the National Limited. Today, all of the remaining service is freight and runs during the night due to restrictions placed my Amtrak.

These are some track diagrams that I drew of the branch over the past couple of years. They are still relatively current.

NJ Transit Track Diagrams 2001

While these are not old train schedules, it is some work that I thought may be of interest to my viewers.

I drew these diagrams of NJ Transit tracks in 2001. This is prior to the Montclair Connection, but after the Kearny Connection. and Midtown Direct.

Back up and running

As you may have noticed, this site was down for a few weeks. Obviously it is back up and running. I am going to try and add a few more scheduled over the next couple of days.
